The Choir at Bistre Church
The Bistre Church Choir consists of roughly 18 members.
We sing at the morning service every Sunday in Emmanuel Church,for evensong on major festivals and also for weddings if required.
Although there is no regular organist and choirmaster at present we try to prepare an anthem for major festivals such as Easter and harvest when the choir is augmented by other members of the parish who enjoy singing
The choir is robed, and is affiliated to The Royal School of Church Music.(RSCM)
whose local area festivals we attend regularly.
Emmanuel Parish Church Sunday School
The Sunday School is a small band of about 14 children ranging from 3 to 10 years of age. It is run by a dedicated team of teachers who promote the Christian way of life, through the means of music, drama, artwork, with lots of fun.
We take part in family services, enjoy preparing the jubilee float(for the annual Buckley Jubilee) and are very busy around Christmas with the Christingle service and a Nativity play.
Bistre Ladies
We were originally called young wives or Young Families and came under the umbrella of the Mother's union.
However when the Mothers Union was reorganised, the Young Families group, was disbanded and we carried on under the current name.
We meet on the 2nd. Monday of the month at 7.30pm. in the Parish Hall.
There is a varied programme, which usually includes one or two outings a year.

The Mothers Union
The MU meet on the last Thursday of every month at 7.30in the Parish Hall.
On the first Wednesday of the month we have a communion service, open to everybody, at Emmanuel Church.
We have a communion service open to everybody, at Emmanuel Church at 9.30am. We have a speaker every month, and join in all deanery and Diocesan festivals. In short we have fun and enjoy ourselves.

Bistre Parish Badminton Group
Currently the group play at the Elfed sports centre Buckley 6pm. to 7pm. every Wednesday.

Bistre Parish Youth Group
The youth
group for young people aged bewteen 10 and 16 meets on the fourth
Sunday of every month in the church hall. A wide variety of
activities are planned for the coming year including cooking, crafts,
treasure hunt and barbecue and trips out bowling or ice skating.

All Saints Sunday School
The Sunday school is a small group of children from 3 to 13 years of age.
They are involved in a range of different activities which show the children a Christian way of life.
The children also take part in family services and at Christmas we have a Nativity Play.
